Xiaomi is again accused for sending user private data to the remote server in china. Security researcher claims that Chinese company, which leads to the smartphone market in India and it one of the top-five smartphone makers globally, has provided loopholes on it's phones to transmit data to the remote servers hosted by Alibaba in China. When cyber security researcher Gabi Cirlig examined the Mi browser on the Redmi Note 8, he found that phone was collecting users behavior including website visited search queries in Google.   

Among other Preloaded apps, the default of the xiaomi redmi  Mi series phones were found recording web history of users even when they switched to the 'incognito' mode Xiaomi has denied the claims, and while it  tracks some anonymous browsing data, It does not share data with third parties.

Cirlig said that he found Xiaomi's default browser on his phone recording all the websites which he access in his phones in addition to capturing all search engine queries, even when he use google for the privacy focused DuckDuckGo search engine. The recording did not stop even when he switched to the 'incognito' Mode. Incognito mode keep browsing session private from websites by not saving browsing history, cookies and or information entere in the forms and the phone was recording folders and screen accessed.

Xiaomi responds that 'the researchers claims are not true they said the privacy and security is our top concern and strictly follows local laws and regulation on user data privacy matter. Company is saying ' User's privacy and internet security' is  priority at Xiaomi.
