Xiaomi Redmibook is all set to bring its first laptop in India, The reports are stating that Redmi series of laptop will be launched in India soon Redmibook and Mi-laptop have been long due in India, Xiaomi even registered a trademark for Redmibook in the country earlier this year. The Redmibook 13 notebook was expected to launch but that did not materialise. Now with the new Information, expectations are again set to grow, however there is still no word on the launch of Redmibook or Mi-laptop.

The company has been selling affordable laptop under the Mi and Redmi series. Xiaomi's laptops usually offer good specifications packaged in premium designs but at the fair prices that can also give competitions to the affordable laptops from mainstream manufacturers.The present light-weight ultrabook players like HP,Dell,Lenovo etc sell their products at a starting price of  Rs 50,000. The RedmiBook series may launch with an even more affordable price tag.

RedmiBook Expected Pricing and Specification :

The RedmiBook 13 price was initially set at CNY 4,199 (roughly 42,300) that include the intel core i5 processor along with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD. It goes up to for the configuration that include a core i7 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 512 SSD. In 13 model there is Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics card with 2GB of graphic memory, Which should be good enough to tackle casual games in mid settings, lightweight photo and video editing. The Redmi 13 also feature Harman Branded speaker with DTS audio in it, connectivity chops include Bluetooth 5.0 NFC and dual band Wi-Fi. While it is a bit disappointing to note that Redmi 13 does not feature a single USB C port a standard that is becoming increasingly in recent times. The laptop's 40W-hr battery claims deliver 11 hours of video playback and 8.5 hours of web Browsing which is acceptable as well.

Due to the lockdown, all mobile and computer shop are closed and e-commerce operators are aslo not allowed to sell non-essential product like laptop and mobile phones.The lockdown placed until may 3 there is no certainty of lifting of lockdown would be very difficult for Xiaomi to sell the laptop.RedmiBook could be coming to India in the days of month too come but that did not happen.
